Our Story

Growing up, Olivia Walthall spent countless hours watching her grandmother work in her flower garden and enjoying her beautiful arrangements. She found herself mesmerized by the colors and drawn to making her own bouquets, even when the flowers were actually weeds! Thus began a life-long love, appreciation of the joy flowers bring and awe of God’s creation.

After her grandmother passed, Olivia’s mother continued the legacy of this family garden in Mississippi while Olivia carried on the family tradition in Charleston, S.C. Now with two daughters of her own, Olivia is continuing this love by going “flower hunting” with her girls and through Light & Lily.

Olivia has received training from FlowerSchool New York and has experience creating seasonal bouquets and custom orders, large and small. She strives to source locally, in-season florals for her arrangements.
